Most new mom-preneurs who put up their own businesses work out of their homes. This is idea as it allow them to spend time with their children. Now the problem starts when the business is growing and needs to have a more professional image.
For mail and package delivery, you’d have to give out your home address which may start with “Lot 1, Block 1, Calachuchi Street, Villa ABC, etc.” When you have to make a business call, sometimes you can’t help but raise your voice to be heard above the sound of a passing tricycle, a barking dog, a crying infant, or the Wowowee theme song blasting from your neighbor’s TV. Or when a client calls and you’re out, your helper may say, “Ay ser, wala si Ati.” There goes your professional image. |
